CRITON dissemination seminar held in Vilnius, Lithuania

On Friday, April 11th 2014, SIH carried out a dissemination seminar under the framework of the LLP KA3 project CRITON. The main aim of the event was to raise information and awareness on the progress of the project as well as to introduce the participants to the CRITON platform and its features and invite them to participate in the piloting of this unique interactive platform for assessing/predicting the success or failure of learners in their engagement in online/eLearning programs. The participants of the event were language teachers from various educational institutions in Vilnius.

SIH academic activities coordinator Jolanta Satiene opened the seminar by introducing the project and its product – the CRITON platform, and the ways it could be used by final beneficiaries.

During the practical part of the seminar SIH project coordinator Gileta Kieriene presented the functionalities of the platform and invited the participants to try the draft project result on their own – they explored the features and capabilities of the platform, experimented on predicting the learning outcomes of imaginary students.

The seminar ended with a lively debate about the possible use of the CRITON platform in the educational process.
