Digiskills Final Conference - Open Classroom Conference with ODS

The exploration of what makes school education innovative will be enhanced by practical activities demonstrating and demystifying those 21st century teacher skills and competences that are so often regarded as essential but intimidating. This free event will showcase and celebrate the excellence of "change agents" from all over Europe who – having been involved with EU projects like ODS and DigiSkills – developed and improved their digital skills and competences by participating in online trainings and face to face summer schools, workshops and competitions. All teachers yet novice to these innovative projects will be able to learn from these inspirational best practices and exploit the active community members' experiences and achievements.

Implementing and Applying Good Practices: Croatian national contest

In the framework of the DigiSkills project, the Faculty of Sciences of the University in Split has launched a national contest for teachers in Croatia. Primary and secondary school teachers in Croatia could apply to the contest in the implementation of two selected good practices, specifically “Safer Internet” and “Nanotechnology and Nanocomputers” uploaded to the DigiSkills inventory.

Digital skills for teachers videos: Multimedia cards and bookmarks

Three short videos were shot at the last European Digiskills Workshop during the 2014 EDEN Annual Conference in Zagreb to introduce good practices by experts. The 'Teacher Training' themed interactive workshop session was hosted by the DigiSkills project at the Synergy Sessions of the Conference and gathered a group of trainers of teachers to discuss the latest inititatives.
